This study is aimed at the preliminary development of an Augmented Reality and Rebuttal-Text (ARaRaT) in changing physics conception using Multifaceted Rasch Measurement (MRFM) analysis. The 3D design (Define, Design, and Develop) is implemented in this study. Five validators have validated the ARaRaT, and the instrument that is used is a validity sheet that contains several validation aspects regarding the curriculum, scientific concepts, linguistics, layout, and the instructional guide for the ARaRaT. Those several aspects are divided into 18 validation indicators, which are then analyzed by utilizing MRFM to attain ARaRaT's validity. The results of the MRFM measurement tabel show that all indicators observed average are positive. Thus, the preliminary development of ARaRaT is in a fit state to be implemented for students to change their conception of physics. © 2026 Author(s).
