Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face challenges in adopting technology, including the use of the Internet. The objective of this study is to examine the determinants that impact the use of the internet by MSMEs in Indonesia. Multiple studies demonstrate the lack of consistency in the impact of reported benefits, perceived happiness with use, and intentions to adopt on the actual usage of the internet. A quantitative-descriptive technique was used to examine empirical data from 267 MSMEs. The data analysis employs structural equation modeling. The findings indicated that the preparedness of the company has a noteworthy impact on individuals' attitudes regarding the acceptance of the advantages offered by the internet. The perception of obtaining advantages has a substantial impact on satisfaction and actual utilization, but it does not exert a major influence on intentions to adopt. MSMEs should not only recognize the advantages of utilizing the internet, but they should also genuinely derive satisfaction from operating their company. This study enhances our understanding of the acceptability of digital technology in MSMEs. © 2025, SRAC - Romanian Society for Quality. All rights reserved.
