Research on ethnomathematics has developed significantly in recent decades. This study is to determine the trend of ethnomathematics research and its influence on numeracy literacy of junior high school students. Bibliometric analysis was used in this study. By using data from the Scopus database as well as Publish or Perish and Vos viewer to search for data and visualize the relationship between ethnomathematics keywords and numeracy literacy, this study identifies the main topics and research trends in relevant fields from various countries or regions within a certain period of time. The result of this research is that the number of ethnomathematics research has increased over the past decade (2014-2024). Our recommendation regarding ethnomathematics research is ethnomathematics research related to spatial ability, literacy, numeracy, and mathematics. © 2026 Author(s).
