Authored by distinguished scholars, it provides multidimensional insights, catering to academics, researchers, teachers, students, and teacher educators. Its rigorous analyses enrich professional practices, inform research, and enhance policymaking, making it an indispensable resource for understanding and advancing English education in the nation. It advocates for adopting English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) and addressing native-speakerism norms. Curriculum and materials development emphasize multilingualism, critical literacy, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Assessment innovations include portfolio-based approaches and formative practices. Pedagogical chapters highlight skill integration, learner autonomy, and translanguaging.
