This study aims to improve 21st-century skills with the inquiry levels model in accounting subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the research method used as Classroom Action Research. The objects of this research are at Accounting High Schools in West Java. The results showed increased critical thinking skills and the ability to access, analyze, and synthesize information by students, initially at less and moderate levels in Cycle I. Then, in Cycle II, students' abilities increased to good in all assessment categories. Working in groups gives students the same responsibility to solve existing problems and trains critical thinking skills and the ability to perform analysis. This research was conducted using inquiry-based learning because in this learning model. Students are required to be able to solve problems, encouraging the growth of skills valuable in the 21st-century like critical thinking, communication, creativity and active learning. Inquiry-level learning makes learning more exciting and meaningful with student engagement because learning should be student-centered through teacher assistance, creating a conducive learning climate. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
