The aim of this research is to create innovative artistic performances based on virtual technology media by combining virtual stages and real stages in a blended manner through collaboration between dance and music. The method used is action research. Through a qualitative paradigm, this method is used to describe data in an actual, realistic, and systematic manner in creating performing arts works based on virtual technology media. Data collection was carried out using interviews, participant observation, document study, focus group discussions, and reflection. The result of the research is the creation of a new product in the technique of creating works of art based on virtual technology media on the Bandung Isola Performance Art Festival (BIPAF) stage. Dance performances in the future face two possibilities, between returning to the original format such as conventional performances or transforming into a new format in the form of a blended art performance between a virtual stage and a real stage. With the development of new technology, collaborative art performances can be carried out in different places, but can be appreciated on the same stage, namely combining the real stage and the collaborative virtual stage. The impact of this research is that dance directors and musicians can utilize virtual technology media to create blended collaborative dance and music, making it possible to create new works of performing arts based on virtual technology media that are not limited to space and time. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
