Mathematics learning plays a crucial role in education, but is often faced with low student interest and motivation, affecting their learning outcomes. This study aims to explore using a web-based digital platform, Wordwall, in mathematics learning and assess its impact on student motivation and understanding. The method used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that follows PRISMA guidelines, focusing on research trends, benefits, challenges, and the effectiveness of using Wordwall in mathematics learning. The results show that Wordwall effectively improves students' understanding of mathematics concepts, learning outcomes, and motivation. Interactive features such as educational games and quizzes are proven to increase students' engagement in the learning process. However, some significant challenges were found, including the difficulty of student and teacher adaptation to the new technology, as well as infrastructure limitations in some areas. This study suggests that to optimize the use of Wordwall, intensive training for teachers and provision of better access to educational technology are necessary. Overall, Wordwall offers great potential in creating a more engaging and enjoyable mathematics learning experience, with improved learning outcomes and student motivation as the main positive impacts. © 2026 American Institute of Physics Inc..
