Abstract

This article mentions the development of maritime logistics research through a bibliometric approach using publish or perish reference manager application and VOSviewer Visualization, with keywords “logistics, transportation, and maritime logistics”. The keywords resulted in 997 articles with a search period from 2012 to 2022. The discussions in this article are about mapping most citation articles, the correlation of publication years and number of citations, and the characteristics of each keyword. The search keywords have several clusters and links related to existing research. There are 316 items and 8 clusters that appear in the VOSviewer application. However, when viewed from each keyword, the word logistics has 297 links with a total link strength of 2028, transportation has 276 links with a total link strength of 1390, while maritime logistics has 199 links with a total link strength of 504. The research development trends over the ten years are fluctuating and the year of publication is not correlated with the total number of citations. Based on the analysis, many links and total link strength are obtained in the following order: logistics, transportation, and maritime logistics. This can be a reference for further researchers in mapping research related to those key-words. © 2023 Taylor's University. All rights reserved.
