This study aims to understand position of talent management, organizational commitment, and organizational happiness in achieving organizational success as both an educator or lecturer at a university. The research methodology is quantitative. The research is cross-sectional in nature due to its time horizon. The research method used is explanatory (explanatory research). Non-probability sampling was used, with 125 respondents sampled using a saturated sampling technique. SEM-PLS analysis is used to determine the semantic differential scale. The SEM model provides the hypothesized moderation model, which shows that organizational happiness can have a significant positive effect on talent management and organizational commitment. This article supports the use of moderating variables as an explanation to better understand organizational happiness and organizational commitment in talent management and organizational commitment. This research was only carried out at one university in Bandung. It is hoped that the results of this study will be effective to higher education institutions, which generally invest heavily in strategies focusing on the improvement of private university lecturers. The framework illustrates that every educator and their organization must collaborate together to implement talent management and organizational happiness so that increase organizational commitment. The origin has been found in the article, which states that in order to achieve good organizational commitment for talented lecturers, the application of good talent management must be accompanied by suffice organizational blissfulness. For future research, it is hoped that the scope of the research area could be expanded and other variables related to research by field of human resource management can be added by strengthen of competitive ability universities, especially the private universities. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
