Abstract

This research aims to explore expectations and facts in online learning management for the Electrical and Electronics Sciences discipline. The study focuses on three key aspects: competencies in electrical and electronics, e-learning preparation, and learning satisfaction. The sample group in this research was undergraduate students majoring in Electrical and Electronics Sciences or related fields from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). These students, who registered for the academic year 2023, engaged in partially or entirely online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample group of 200 individuals was selected using a multi-stage random sampling method. The research results indicate that the mean of gaps between expectations and facts in e-learning management for Electrical and Electronics Sciences, along with their standard deviations (1.37, 0.97), can be categorized into competencies of Electrical and Electronics Sciences, e-learning preparations, and satisfaction. The gaps in all 10 indicators related to e-learning management in Electrical and Electronics Sciences 11.283)) were found to be significantly different at the 0.05 significance level. © 2024 IEEE.
