This study aims to describe the role of parents in millennial families in strengthening honest character to their children. Industrial Revolution 4.0 as the global trend of digital technology gives significant changes to human life and society. The moral and character building in early childhood is essential to encounter this challenge. This character building begins from the smallest unit in the society which is family. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The observation object of this study is parents of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) An-Na'iim students. The results of the study indicate that the strategies applied by the parents in strengthening honest character are giving good examples, giving advice, open communication, discussion, involving proportionally in children's activities, giving understanding and awareness, and communicating the importance of having honest character through reading stories. © 2023 Peter Lang Group AG, Lausanne.
