The Teaching Practitioner Program in Indonesia aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice in religious education. Through collaboration between lecturers and practitioners, the program enhances the technical competencies of preservice religious teachers and develops soft skills and leadership. The study results showed that prospective teachers felt more prepared to face the challenges of the professional world after participating in this program, especially in integrating technology and dealing with student diversity. This program also improves their readiness to adapt to changing times and form professional characters essential to creating an effective and inclusive learning environment. © 2026 The Religious Education Association.
