A bibliometric approach combined with computational mapping analysis through VOSviewer was employed to examine the development of research on renewable energy (RE) education. Data for this study were gathered from the Scopus database using the references manajer's POP (Publish or Perish). The search strategy was developed based on the title and abstract of each article with the inclusion of the keyword, "Renewable Energy in Secondary School."The results highlighted three main divisions in renewabl energy education research-renewable energy, education, and secondary education. For instance, "RE Education"was associated with 18 nodes having total link strength of 41, while "Education"had 22 nodes with total link strength of 176. Furthermore, "Secondary Education"possessed 17 nodes with total link strength of 31. The analysis indicated that 35 relevant articles appeared between 2018 and 2022. Furthermore, the pattern on renewabl energy education research revealed a decrease from 2018 to 2012, fluctuations from 2020 to 2022, and another decrease from 2020 to 2021. Though these changes oscillate, the results imply that there is still great scope for further study within the domain of RE education. © 2026 Author(s).
