Abstract

This research is based on Sukanagara District which has a high level of landslide susceptibility. This study aims to analyze the effect of education level, age, employment status and income, and housing conditions on community preparedness in dealing with landslides in Sukanagara District, Cianjur Regency. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of the study, the variables that affect the level of readiness in education. Meanwhile, age, employment status, and income, as well as living conditions had no effect. Suggestions for research related to efforts to increase community preparedness are to increase the level of public education and provide supporting facilities for preparedness by the government. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing.
