Sustainable freight transportation has an important role in determining the direction of development a regionl. Modelling of Freight Road transportation is useful to know the needs of sustainable the road infrastructure. Freight generation of paddy commodities are estimated by using modeling based on demographic variables, the condition of road infrastructure and vehicles goods carriers. Production freight generation zones of paddy commodities has characteristics that evolve as conditions of the road infrastructure in that zone. Interaction between the production zones are formed by using gravity modeling with the imposition of transport networks based on the traffic of freight in accordance with the predominant characteristics used in transporting paddy commodities. Network imposition that result will determine the direction of sustainable development that related necessary capasitas road needs and the service levels that specified. © IEOM Society International.
