Edmodo is a free online learning application that can be applied by teachers to create and manage classroom. The purpose of this study is to analyze primary school pupils' science conceptual understanding by using Edmodo as online-based learning. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Tests and interviews were used as data collection techniques. Tests were used to collect data related to pupils' science conceptual understanding, while interviews were conducted to gain supporting data. The results showed that primary school pupils have mastered the concept about negative impacts of human activities that could affect water quality, however pupils have low understanding about how to reduce the negative impacts of human activities that affect water quality. Based on the study result, the researchers concluded that Edmodo as online-based learning help teachers to analyze primary school pupils' conceptual understanding of science fast and accurately. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.
