This research aims to analyze trends in problem solving skills in science education and their future opportunities using bibliometric analysis. used in this research. A total of 1164 documents out of 3174 in the Scopus database were analyzed. The results revealed that scientific publication on problem-solving skills in science education has been increasing. JPCS is the most published source document on this topic. Indonesia ranks second after the United States and contributes the most documents on problem-solving skills. In addition, Indonesian authors and institutions play a dominant role in this topic. The results have also indicated three major clusters in problem-solving skills in science education. These findings can guide researchers in recognizing global trends in problem-solving skills research in science education and provide recommendations for future research directions. © 2025 Author(s).
