This research is qualitative research with a literature review method chosen to review research on inventive thinking skills in 2007-2024. The reviewed articles were taken from the Scopus database. Articles were screened with the help of the Covidence application. The purpose of the study was to determine (1) the descriptive nature of the studies included in the meta-synthesis, (2) the objectives and significance of the study, (3) the distribution of research in terms of subjects, and (4) the results presented in these works. The results showed that the Annual Growth Rate of inventive thinking research articles from 2007-2023 was 11.85%. Ten productive countries that research inventive thinking ability. The objectives of the works included in this study were examined and grouped into six categories, namely the relationship between inventiveness and other knowledge, knowing or the profile of inventive ability, understanding the causes of problems in inventiveness, testing the effects of inventive-based learning or teaching materials, improving inventive ability, and inventive-based learning. Research related to inventive thinking skills contained in the Scopus database comes from Biology, Chemistry, Science, Mathematics, Business, Technology, Engineering, and Language. The results of this study can be used as a reference or consideration in researching inventive thinking skills in mathematics learning. © 2025 Author(s).
