Now a day, several researchers have been developing problem-based learning with scaffolding in the mathematical context because this issue is very important to enhance students’ learning in the elementary school. The study aims to develop the Problem-Based Learning with Scaffolding Test (PBLST) in the mathematical context through ADDIE-developing model stands for Analysis, Define, Design, Implementation and Evaluation. This research methodology is able to analyze the development of PBLST combined with scaffolding in terms of measuring 30 students of elementary school in the mathematics context. Before the PBLST administered to the students, the learning model has already been developed by the researchers. The research reports the result that the development of PBLST with scaffolding could develop the students’ conceptions more than 80% via this learning model. In conclusion, we have concluded that the development of PBLST with scaffolding is able to improve the learning achievement for elementary school students. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
